Kwai! I walk with the medicine and wisdom of the Schaghticoke Tribal Nation, living in relationship with the lands of the Eastern Woodlands of Turtle Island.

It is from this place of deep connection, remembrance, and responsibility that I offer myself as a guest speaker, workshop facilitator, and ceremonial voice to honor the land and ancestors.

Whether you are seeking someone to open your gathering with an Indigenous land acknowledgment, lead a heartfelt workshop rooted in earth-based wisdom, or share teachings that weave story, spirit, and social healing, I would be honored to stand with you.

Offerings

Guest Speaking and Lectures

Jesse Rose can offer talks that bridge Indigenous knowledge, earth stewardship, plant spirit connection, and the living traditions of the Eastern Woodlands.
Each talk is adapted to the heart of the gathering — whether an educational institution, community event, conference, or sacred ceremony — and seeks to awaken a deeper remembrance of our connection to land, ancestors, and one another.
Topics can include:
- Indigenous perspectives on healing and wellness
- Sacred relationship with the Earth
- Reframing land acknowledgments beyond words into action
- The spirit of native plants and medicines of the Eastern Woodlands
- Honoring Indigenous sovereignty and cultural survival

My speaking offerings begin at $450 and vary depending on the length and nature of the event.
I honor both the sacredness of sharing Indigenous teachings and the value of time and preparation involved.

Workshops and Gatherings

Jesse Rose can offer workshops that invite participants into deeper relationship with themselves, the land, and the more-than-human world. Workshops are experiential, weaving together storytelling, meditation, plant spirit connection, herbalism, flower essence therapy, ceremony, and Indigenous teachings.
Workshop examples:

Workshops are experiential spaces of connection, ceremony, and learning.
Workshops begin at $650 for up to 3 hours, with half-day and full-day options available upon request.
Each workshop is tailored to the spirit of your group or event, weaving storytelling, practice, and sacred teachings.

Land Acknowledgments and Opening Ceremonies

I offer ceremonial land acknowledgments to open gatherings with respect, prayer, and presence.
Rather than a performative gesture, my approach invites a genuine honoring of the original peoples of the land, the ongoing relationships with place, and the sacredness of gathering together.
Each acknowledgment is crafted specifically for the place and event, and may include prayer, storytelling, calling in the Directions, and/or moments of silence.
I prioritize events held within the Eastern Woodlands area, but am open to travel and virtual ceremonies.
Land Acknowledgments and Opening Ceremonies are offered with reverence for the ancestors, the land, and the peoples who continue to carry living traditions.
Offerings for ceremonial land acknowledgments begin at $300, and can include prayer, storytelling, or other elements based on your gathering’s needs.
Custom ceremony options are available if you wish to weave in deeper layers of blessing or connection.
