Kwai, hi!
I’m Jesse Rose (she/they), I am the wild-tender of Gathered Waters Medicine, a living offering of Indigenous wisdom, earth-based healing, and herbal medicine. Walking with the wisdom of my Schaghticoke Tribal Nation, Italian, and Hungarian ancestors, we offer Gathered Waters.
-
Schaghticoke translates to “the people of the mingling or gathered waters”. Therefore, Gathered Waters Medicine is first and foremost a child of Water, like each of us. Nibi (Water) is our giver, protector, teacher, connector. Our lifeblood that swims through each body ~ the rivers leading back to the One ~ is the heart of Gathered Waters
-
Physically, Gathered Waters offers organically grown prayerful medicine, sound ceremonies, gatherings, flower essence therapy, speaking engagements, and one-on-work. Gathered Waters is also cultivating an Indigenous-led nonprofit rooted in land-based healing, cultural reclamation, and ecological stewardship. With ceremony, education, and medicine gardens, it honors Mother Earth and all our living kin. This is both a sanctuary for Indigenous resurgence and a place for all to return to our Earth, as a call toward cultural resurgence, land rematriation, and embodied sovereignty.
-
Here we see through eyes of animacy and therefore, Gathered Waters is a living offering - in reverence to my ancestors, those relatives that I now have the privilege of living on their homelands, all beings whom gathered by and for the water, the Water themselves, and the water that we all share in our cells.
We believe medicine, healing offerings, and community gatherings should be available for all. With any of these services, we are committed to serving our community. If cost is ever a barrier please reach out to me here.
